Welcome to the world and it's bullshit currency system. But at least you have a job and food and a roof over your head. Learn to be thankful.

So you should just bite the bullet and quit. That would free up a job for somebody that doesn't have one right now. That would be the decent thing to do.

Back in 1971 I worked for a hellhole called I.T.E Imperial Corp. I worked as a timekeeper and I sat down 6 days a week from 12:00 noon to 2:00 A.M. It was a circuit breaker manufacturing company. I had to listen to the pressed making circuit breakers and it was very very loud. I got a bad case of nerves and I wnet to a psychiatrist. He gave me heavy teanquilizers, stellazine and thorazine. I was half asleep on the job and I eventually got fired. Don't let that happen to you. I should have quit. I had apparently had a nervous breakdown.

I look for a new job daily. I have even told my co-workers and my immediate supervisor that I'm leaving as soon as I find a new job. You think they would let me go...I was hoping they would so I could collect unemployment while I look, hahah. I guess when you're good, you're good and they just don't want to see you leave. They pay doesn't matter, I wouldn't stay if they offered me more. WOW! My biggest pet peeve is STUPID people. hahaha

I have loved working in Computers/IT since I got my first Commodore 64. But the company I work for now has made me loose all interest in IT. They know how bad the economy is and will use it as an excuse every time you bring up a raise, though I have saw the profit sheets and know what this company clears at the end of the month. At 34 years old I am ready to change my profession.
