The above poster is some stupid redneck fundy. I'm a straight male but some of the nicest people I have ever known were trannys like you. Good luck to you.

it sounded to me like you were saying you'd never reach your full potential in relation to the sex you feel you are. i know it's hard but most people, no matter their situation, don't reach their full potential. you gotta make the best out of what you're workin' with! good luck to you!

Posters 1 and 4 are ignorant (most people are, they are simply more so). Cisgendered people are incapable of understanding how it feels. There is no choice.
Being born transgender in these times, your life is difficult no matter what you do. Pre transition, you live in one nightmare. If you transition, you graduate into an entirely different nightmare.
Decades from now, things will be different. A therapist once told me to remember Moses and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - neither of them lived to see their people reach the promised land, but eventually, it did happen.
We are not the only people whose lives are limited by circumstances beyond our control. Consider burn victims, people with paralysis, people with degenerative diseases like Huntington's. The list could go on for hundreds of pages.
Life isn't fair. We must do the best we can with the hands we are dealt. You got a bad deal. So did a lot of others.

The first poster is spot on. Just because we refuse to accept every deviance thrown at us by this new PC, anything goes society, we are labeled as haters. You made your own box, deal with the consequences.

Poster 6: There are quite a few articles in reputable medical and scientific journals that have proven that being transgender is a condition that one is born with. Male and female mammals have different brain structures. Transgender persons (who are NOT the same as crossdressers, by the way) had a birth defect: babies born with the brain of one sex in the body of the other sex.
Try to educate yourself: read the work of Gooren, Gorsky, and Diamond.
