im 31 and my grandpa dies from cancer when i was 10 and everyday since hes been gone i look at the 1 and only picture i have of him and tell him i love him and miss him.

I was raised by my granny, she was 71 when she got a 2 y/o lil boy. Wasn't no daycare back in 1965! We lived in a old clapboard shack in N, La, that diddnrt get inside plumbing till 1976. No gas, No running water, No electricity.till 1970. meals were cooked on a old wood burning range bought from Sears

Lost my sweet grama 3 years after my father.She always(i was 36 and am 54 now)sent me a birthday card with $5.My uncle found the card she had bought me.i cud not open it for a month.I kept it tape to my wall for a yr.On my 36th birthday i looked at it and found she had put a fiver taped to the inside.I cried all day.Oh i a guy.i still miss her.

I am a Nanna and it is the best thing in my life. My Grandson and I play so hard and he shares his secrets with me. I thought being a Mom was the best thing in the world....now my son has given me this precious grandchild. I am so blessed. Thanks for the OP for opening up this discussion. THANK YOU
