It will probably be the hardest thing you ever have to do, but just be honest with her, and if she loves you then she will forgive you.

Umm, yes it is his fault he got an STD, that would be a sexually transmitted disease for all you jackasses that cant read. If he would have used a condom he wouldn't have gotten an STD. I was just saying she might forgive him if he was honest, moron!

Now now, kids, calm down. OP, you should tell her ASAP because even though you've shown no symptoms until now, doesn't mean it wasn't transferred to her while it was dormant. She needs to get checked out. She's your spouse, which means she's committed to you enough to be able to handle something like this. Be honest!

#3-You can still get an STD while using a condom.
Most STDs aren't that big of a deal. You didn't do it on purpose, and you have been faithful. If your spouse really loves you, he/she will realize this and forgive you.

For all who think STDs are transmitted only through unprotected sex, I also contracted genital warts while using condoms. This is a contact-region STD, not only bodily fluids.
And yes, many are not that big of a deal, warts are treatable, and it's fairly simple. Hell, gross as it sounds, herpes is no worse than acne.
Since contracting genital warts, I've been honest with my partner afterwards... as well as anyone who considered me in such a fashion, give them the chance to run...
... I've only had one person who turned me down. Most were respectful, took their time, and we took FURTHER precautions. Honesty's best, especially while saving marriage and rebuilding trust.

Yeah, tell a lie to cover another lie! That ALWAYS works. Be a man and tell her.

Best to tell her so she can be tested. Many women suffer more consequences from STD's than men.
