One of my coworkers makes my work experience a living hell. Her review is coming up and if it wasn't for karma I'd assist my boss in his quest to fire her.

OP: I really think she's trying to sabotage me. Im the youngest in my office and I feel like they don't take me seriously, and they like to make sly subtle insults thinking im too young and stupid to understand that im being insulted. I love my job and the pay plus i actually don't mind coming in...its just some of my co workers...they ruin it for me. I guess you can't have both...either you have an awesome job with shitty coworkers or a shitty job with awesome co workers...give me a break!

OP: No i doubt very seriously she will be my boss one day..many people do not get along with her, shes late many times, takes off a lot. Yes its mainly because shes a divorcee with kids but shes not a very nice person at all. She butts head with the boss and she tries to stir up trouble. I doubt shes going anywhere though...shes been at this job for so long. As i said in the post hes on a quest to try to find a way to get rid of her but shes been there so long..doubt it will happen. Union would make it harder also

I got pushed out of a job I loved because I wouldn't go along with selling drugs at work, stealing, spending too much money and hanging out all day doing nothing. I went over my boss's head to the GM but they hungout and talked football so I was f***ed. There was a lot of things I could have done but didn't, I wish now I had stuck it to all of them.

You can find much better work somewhere else. Unions foster this insanity. Try to avoid another one.

women suck to work with. Just so you know though, even if she gets fired, there seems to always be another asshole waiting in the wings to take the lead. Never ending battle against assholes.

Hmm...that's a really good point. I hope no one else picks up where she left off but I have to say for the days that she wasn't there it was a breeze

Sometimes guilt is the driving force behind why these kinds of people get ahead in the work world. I say be a small part in whatever you have seen as far as her competence. If not, she may be your boss one day. Good luck!!

I work in a office of 4. I am of a different race (WF). I have been bullied by these 3 and my life is a living hell right now. My boss is there friend and socializes with them. I am close to filing a EO complaint. I feel bad for you, work should not be hell.

I had a very nast co-worker when i started with my co. She and I were of equal rank in the structure and she was a complete B****. It took 10 years, but she left and moved out of state. I was promoted to VP and she came back. She stayed a year and left again and will never be allowed back. Bide your time. You will win.

Deal with it in a mature manner. Don't let the rest of that crap get to you and never take that office junk into the boss unless it becomes abusive. Show your boss you can handle it and that you are more about work than about hen cackle. Maybe the next promotion or raise will be yours.
