once you realize that you are not that child anymore and become yourself life is great, not always easy but great non the less, i was like that for a long time, finally let all my inner demons go, and now i can understand why i held on to them for so long. best of luck to you

My life as a child was pure hell also. It seems to take a life time to get over it. Find a way to help a child today. (Big Brothers/Big sisters etc.) We cannot change the past for ourselves. But we can help others suffering today.
