Do women really want to be "just friends" with men? Or are these women pretending to want only friendship just to jerk some poor guy around? They know that the guy will ALWAYS want to have sex with his female friend. No exception. The sex part always gets in the way of a platonic friendship. Always.

I am best friends with a guy who I am without a doubt falling for. Im not friends with him to "jerk him around." And the sad part is, I know he doesnt want me like that. So no, I dont think sex is always an issue between a man and womans friendship.

^ Sweetheart, unless he is gay, he definitely wants you like that. Maybe he is afraid it will change your relationship and he will risk loosing his best friend if something goes wrong (and that's valid), so he is not making a move on you, but he WANTS you in his bed. The sex part is always there, whether you act on it or not. Run this thread by him and ask his opinion of my point.

#5 above kinda proves what #4 and #6 are saying from the female perspective. She is falling for her best friend. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, that's great news! Sometimes real friendship is the hardest part of a relationship to build. She already has that part. Great friendship and a great sex life are not mutually exclusive. I'll bet she wants him in her bed now, too, so this just confirms the comments about the sex part eventually becoming part of the relationship between friends of the opposite sex. Like #1 said, "Life is short...GO GET IT!"
