It's a black widow dumbass. It could kill you or your kid. Go hug a tree and give your kid to somebody with some common sense.

First replier. Yes I knew what it was,I knew what it could do. It wasn't inside nth house, but could have gotten in so I did take care of it. But that doesn't mean I have to lack a conscious about it. Just because you are the way you are doesn't make people that give a damn stupid.

Spiders are actually good omens, if you believe in anything like that, so no I dont kill them as it brings bad luck to you, but if' it's a poisinous spider if I can't catch it to set it outside then yea it's dead.

To even consider not killing an insect that has even a remote possibility of harming your child is abusive. You need to get your priorities straight.

I usually try not to kill spiders, being that most are non poisonous and they are great for the environment by eating a lot of pests. Easiest thing to do is get a glass/plastic jar and place it over the spider. When you finally get the spider inside the jar, take it outside somewhere and dump it out. Of course with a black widow or any other poisonous spider, then yes, you'll have to make a judgement call and probably exterminate it. I work as a PE teacher, so i'm always having to "take care" of spiders that get into the bathrooms, freaking annoying! Coolest spiders though, the spiny backed orb weavers, very bad ass looking and we got tons of em in FL. They can survive storms like you wouldn't believe!

Good girl! I cannot kill a bug either for no reason. If it's inside the house, I take it outside. It has a right to live, too. BUT with that said, if it's a insect that could cause harm like a hornet or something I'm allergic to like a fire ant and I can't grab it without it hurting me or fenagle capturing it properly, I may kill it as SELF-defense and feel that is acceptable to do, if that makes sense.
