Me too. Most people are too dim to see that it makes no difference who wins. Demican, Republicrat, conservaliberal. The winner is money, and always has been. The rich will continue to purchase the political system until we are all oligarchy and no democracy. Arguing with people who actually believe what they were taught in government school and corporate television is both tiring and pointless. Some people will be in their mental "matrix" forever.

OP here. Yeah I've tried it many times. I've lost count the number of times on FB and in person where they lose their cool and start ranting about their personal political stand points. No different than rabid sports fans or religious nuts. It's easier to tell them you are in agreement than trying to tell them WHY you are voting the way you do. If you tell them you don't discuss politics they think you are undecided and try to convince you to vote THEIR way. As in religion and sports this is about egos attaching themselves to OTHER egos thinking it gives them identity and self importance. I just refuse to participate and vote how I want.

Some people are such idiots that they can't take that there are other people in this world with different views one politics and religion! I've worked with the public for years and those were the top two subjects we steer away from because you can lose clients and your business. It's a shame that not everyone can accept other people's views. I'm fine with whatever someone else wants to believe, worship or vote for. We're all on Earth together for a little while so why not make the best of it.
