Unless he's dangerous or would be bad for the child, he deserves the truth. It's as much his as yours.

Thank God you are not killing the baby. Maybe your sister will provide a great home and a loving relationship with this child. Good job, kind of...

What a wonderful gift you are giving to your sister! You're a very brave woman and a very caring 'mother'.
I'm proud of you even though I don't know you. I think it's great!

"And who said you suck or that you're a whore? Nobody".
When I checked last night, there were a few peope who said some pretty hateful things...I guess someone flagged them.

He doesn't deserve the truth, and doesn't need to know. Your body, your baby. You are doing the right thing, and avoiding complications for everyone. Likely, this child will have a much better home, and loving parent(s). Trust me ... I wish I had done something like this ... many years later, much suffering on the part of first child, many years of abuse for all (except he who doled it out), a long divorce, ending in bankrtupcy and near mental breakdown for me (7 years took to divorce). No. Men are not worth that grief.
Good for you!

Oh and p.s. It's not as much his as yours. Until he can bring it to full term, until he raises, nurses, etc., it is YOURS. Possession is 9/10 of the law, and when they don't want it, they sure as shit let us know, let us down, and dump the kids.

Ok the poster above has no idea what they are talking about. If he does find out or thinks it could be his and he gets a court order for a test to be done, he could get full custody of the child even after many years of your sister raising it. That would be terrible for her and the child. If I was you I would contact a lawyer for advice and information on what you can do. GL

I am grateful for women who decide to heal the heart of a woman who can't give birth as a result of infertility. I am one of those many women. I hope you are strong enough to do this for your sister.
