  | 1 up. Right. Thank your landlord. Since he lowered your rent you should lower your standards and sleep with your landlord as a gesture of thanks.

  | good luck, but like above said.."GOD" is not the one you should be thanking...also, follow up this kind gesture and make the right choice every time a decision needs to be made, and things will be good in no time. good for you!

  | 2^ 6^ I've got an idea that the OP did thank the landlord. Seems like a thankful person. Why do you take every opportunity to push your non-god product? Oh, for the death of the salesman.

  | 1 up. Don't be dim. You don't even know who I am, and have insufficient evidence to conclude how often I push my "non-god product". I rarely speak out, but I often see people discussing the good deeds of others followed by thanks to god. I never hear them thank the good-deed doer, and if they're going to go out of their way to thank god in public, why not thank the good samaritan as well?

  | There is no God...just decent human beings trying to do the right thing. God has absolutely nothing to do with it.

  | ^ Thanks for your OPINION. 2^ Funny you talk about evidence. You "never hear them thank the good-deed doer" is no more evidential than your prior soft-sell of the "non-God product." Both are entirely anecdotal. Maybe don't stare at the sun so long next time.

  | How great is it that someone is thinking of you and willing to have less so that you can be better off. This is a GREAT secret. And by the way, Jesus said that the greatest 2 laws were to love God, and to Love Others as you love yourself... Good rules whether you believe in a Divine Presence or not.
