you need an "Aw, f*** it" attitude and realize there is nothing you can do to change the situation eating at you. It took a long time, but eventually I figured i out. And it works. Especially when you realize that by and large people do not give a shit about you because they are too busy with their own lives

3^ Putting up another defense mechanism is the easy solution and a poor one. Some things can be changed. Some suffering is ok, because it helps a person grow emotionally. the path you're on isn't one to flaunt, though it may be right for you.

OP here...let's just say I made a choice that can't be changed, and if I had it to do today, I would do it differently. And for the record...I have posted several times, here, and these are by far...the nicest responses I have ever gotten.
