Hey OP, If your relationship hits the final skids, google "communes USA". Some sound really cool and give you an opportunity to come live with them short-term to see how you like it. Not all are run by 60s-era hippies either. But the concept of sharing work and wealth is the same. Best wishes

YES. I was once in a realtionship with a very beautiful and talented woman. Neither of us had two dimes to rub together. She had just been fired from a good job, and I had just had a business fail. Although we had nothing, we were very happy together. As soon as things picked up for us on the economic side, we began to have all kinds of problems. I tried and tried but we could not save the realtionship. I have never forgotten this.
