I did something similar with my best friend and lost her in the process. Her bf was not only cheating on her but also being mentally and physically abusive. I still love and care about my friend and pray that I don't open the paper one day to find her obit.

1 up. That is right. If she is too stupid to see him then just let it go.

Same here. My friend's BF was drop-dead gorgeous so he could have any girl he wanted. He screwed all of our friends (OK, even ME). When we finally told her she dropped all of us but kept HIM. Five years and 3 kids later he's still cheating on her and everyone knows it. She looks like she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

OP here....my best friend has gone through so many bad relationships. After she kicked her boyfriend out, she was on the verge of having a breakdown. She started having panic attacks, and one day, when she had one, he was the only one she knew who could drive her to the ER. She took him back after that. Her problem is that she that she believes that she won't be happy unless she's in a relationship. I've tried to tell her that mindset is just wrong, but she just keeps getting back into bad relationships. I just don't know what to do anymore.
