I agree with one up. Maybe the person you were with does not see all that one-night banging as something that reduces their life. I am not in a relationship today because I enjoy one-night stands(or a few more get-togethers with the same one). They are full of novelty, excitement, and the thrill of doing someone new is awesome. For those of you who want to try it just be sure to wear a condom. Oh, and don't drink too much. A few times I woke up next to women that made me think that I had way too much to drink the nght before.
