Most people do suck. You are right. Stop helping the bastards.

Unfortunetly, I would have no income. I pray for retirement or powerball so I can call in "rich".

Reminds me of my "Caregiver" days, that was a hard job and it took me to the point of not caring for myself to quit. Just remember there will be a star in your crown someday. Thanks for helping others.

I'm assuming the OP is a nurse.
Thank you, you get shit on (literally and figuratively) by a****** doctors, a f***ed up system, and patients who don't know what they are saying.
Without you nothing in medicine would function.
I always try to have a good relationship with any nurse I have to impose on. If I try hard enough to not be the a****** I usually am I hope it makes someone's day easier.

I dropped out of nursing school this year. Most of my classmates were caring people, but some were immature, spoiled b****es who acted as though the world revolved around them. Same with the instructors: most were great, but some were mean, vicious, destructive people. G-d help anyone who gets one of these "second" types assigned to them. I think they care for the patients even less than the doctors do.
