teaching sucks. i did it for 2 years. f*** those little snot nosed brats. It's not worth the money. Get into the private sector and make twice as much. Plus you don't hear burp and fart jokes everyday.

Children get very little motivation at home these days and it falls to the teachers to motivate them, wrong as that may be. Think what it would be like take and unmotivated student and turn them in to the class valedictorian. It is probably a feeling like no other.If you are the best that you can be, the student will have a role model. That is not a bad thing by any means and you can make a difference in that persons life. Give them gumption and delete the whining. They will be better people and you will feel a sense of accomlishment.

Typical teacher. Always whining. Bet you'll enjoy the two weeks off at Christmas, the week in spring, the three months in summer...You chose your profession. Quit complaining and start teaching. Maybe your student will learn from example if the right example is set.

Children cry (whine) when they are in need, which means they have needs that are being unfulfilled. If these needs are personal in nature, as a teacher, you can do nothing about it. If these needs are educational in nature, you are the only one that can help them. You don't have to big things to do great things. However, if you don't wish to work with children, there is nothing forcing you to.

Children today are poisoned constantly by otherwise well-meaning adults. It takes some effort to counter-act this, but it is effort well spent.
