So sorry for your loss. I know that feeling all too well. The only comfort in watching someone die is knowing that their suffering is over. It was good you were with your loved one. Some people die alone without the comfort of family or friends.

^it's a heart. To OP: Take comfort knowing their suffering is finally over, though I think everyone on here is full of sorrow for your loss. The best thing you can do for your loved one is to go on and make the best for yourself and the ones around you in their honor.

I think it is a wonderful post. More people should care like this person did. They made a difference up until the very last. Good for you. Hope someone will be with me holding my hand when it's time for me to begin my next journey. Thanks for sharing this.
