I hope both you and your son are healthy. I swear if I ever saw ANYONE hit a pregnantwoman deliberately,much less in her stomach,that person who hit her WOULD NOT get awaywith it !! Your story brings tears to my eyes - regardless if your husband and you can or can't afford the adoption fees, know that in your husband's heart - and most importantly your son's heart and eyes ...that he is his true daddy. Don't let the sperm donor affect your son's ability to grow up with a normal healthy life. I don't know what state you live in or what laws apply there. But i know that in the state of Tx, that if the biological father has spent at least 3 consecutive years of being absolutely no part of the childs' life, that the attorney general of Tx will help work with the custodial parent in having the non custodial parent's rights revoked and terminated. In the most crucial of cases ... I think that's a good thing. My prayers are with you and your family.
