The Hippy Movement, a time when I came of age and became a part of, is a moment in time when our grandparents set up a future more prosperous than any time in American history. Yet in 40 years we have trashed the values and the economic security of this country. All because yesterday's hippies who became today's leaders never grew up and got past the selfish, irresponsible and narcissistic lifestyle which defined their youth. You need a good dose of objective history lessons and better critical thinking skills. You are also due for a quiet talk with yourself in front of a mirror.

If that were true, every other developed country would be just as wealthy. Why didn't the Soviet Union succeed? They are far larger and have with rich natural resources as we do. Look at Mexico. They are loaded with oil. Why aren't they as prosperous as we have been? It is because they lack a moral value system. They can't change the political machine controlled by a few elites. So, they cross the border.Oil is not getting more expensive due to depleting reserves. We have enough on the earth for 200 years. The prices are high from all the uncertainty due to conflict in the Middle East.
