^^Are you on drugs? Who said anything about a 6 year old and tying shoes?

^Yep. They want to blame a husband/boyfriend because it makes them feel better about not being able to get/keep one.

Dude judging by the self drawn pic...I'd say this is a child. You people are drama queens...

Call the police and have him arrested. If you have no other place to go, then find a shelter for abused women and their children. He won't leave. I was in your situation for many years and understand the fear of leaving. Trust me it is so worth it. Your children will thank you and you will regain your self confidence and succeed in life. Best of luck to you and give the children a hug.

^ obviously?......why ?? what if she wants HIM out of the life of her and the kids?

^Sometimes, a parent doesn't want to deal with their own issues, so they take it out on a child. Sometimes, like in my case, a single child. They allow uncles and siblings and cousins and friends of all kinds to jump in on the bashing. Never had a reason to, either.

I agree that you should never be hit in anger. But let's face it. What in your life causes him to go off? My dad was a violent alcoholic. I didn't understand what made him tick until I moved out of stste for 20 years, then moved in with my now elderly mom to take care of her. Moving in with her has opened my eyes to her personality like never before. After my dad died when i was 17, I came to terms with him and found forgiveness. After moving in with my mom I actually feel a bit sorry for what he had to put up with. OP, you need a very serious dose of (self) introspection

Yep, could be right. He should never ever touch you like that and needs an ass kicking for it, however, we have to wonder if you drive him crazy with drama and BS.

Tell us what is going on....

If you are being abused, then you need to get out and away. He will never leave as long as he has someone to take his anger out on.
