Yeah one day you wake up and look at the person you cheated with and are repulsed. And they think the same thing about you.

The person on the other end of an extra-maritial affair is never worth it. What is important is whether you think it was worth the fun. If so, don't worry about it.

^^So true. I had an affair during my marriage and never regretted it for a moment. Now that I am single I would do it again with a married woman.

you people are worthless pieces of shit. and 10 up is the biggest piece of shit. this person actually says that if there are no feelings of guilt then they did nothing wrong. well apply that logic so anything else and see how flawed it is. a sociopath shows no signs of remorse for any actions, even killing/eating/skinning people. since they show no guilt it wasn't wrong?you people are scum and all deserve to f***ing die.

^^^I am 2 up^^^If the marriage is already f***ed-up, there really isn't any issue, other than there will eventually be a divorce whether or not there is an affair. The marriage is screwed up to the point where the OP felt compelled to have an affair. When the unhappiness gets to that point, staying in the marriage is just semantics. I would suggest though, that the next time the OP has a relationship after divorce, they may want to explore the possibility of swinging with the people they date. Then if that is not for them, they have some soul searching to do to determine what kind of relationship is best for them and fair for their partner. Obviously, dishonesty and secrecy in a marriage, or any relationship, is not the way to go. It doesn't do any good for the conscience or soul if there are feelings of guilt.

^^ You are right about that. I believe if there is no feelings of guilt, then there is no harm from the perpetrator. I agree that if the person can have an affair, they should try to have a partner who is interested in couples swapping. It works great for my husband and I.
