You're so young yet - there's still a LOT of time till death. My advice - look for friendship first. You may find the person you want to spend your life with - and even if you don't, you'll have good friends to help fill the void. Good luck to you, and i agree with 1up -

I didn't have my first "real" relationship until I was 29.

26? Cut it out. I was over 35. I loved living alone. Yes, I am now quite happy with my other half, however, I still miss being alone sometimes. I never thought I would say that while I was single so enjoy it while you can.

I know you feel bad about this, but I was the same way. I was almost thirty before I had my first real relationship, and then I took off like like a skyrocket with relationships! And this is not about sex as I has sex since my sixteenth birthday, and I had a lot of sex after that, but it's not like a relationship just about sex! Everything happens the way it's supposed to happen and often when you least expect it.
