If you have never been unemployed in your life, and you are now, how on earth would that make your kids think you are a looser? if you were uneployed MOST of your life, then maybe, but things happen, and people loose jobs. Keep on searching for another one, you will find it. It might not be perfect or what you are looking for, but something is better then nothing until you can once again find something that works for you as you work for them...

Hey, I am unemployed for the first time at 50 years old. I am in school getting a nursing degree. Get one of those and you will never be unemployed for the rest of your life. You can do it in two years.

I'm 60 and have had at least 200 jobs, drew unemployment countless times. Your kids won't take it to heart and it will get better with some effort.

When I was growing up my mother worked in a factory, and my father (a disabled vetren) stayed home with my brother and I. He was the stay at home Dad. Not once in my entire life have I ever considerd my father a loser for not going to work. So long as you have confidence in yourself your children will have confidence in you. Talk to your children, and you will see.

No your president is the f***ing loser. Make sure you tell your kids that and if you voted for that deadbeat Obama, don't make that mistake again!

Your job is to teach your kids. Show them by example how to deal when life kicks you in the nuts. Your job is to love your kids and find another job. Most people won't look down on you if you are trying. People look down when you give up.

Millions of Americans, many with good education and/or good work skills, are unemployed. Don't beat yourself up! Perhaps this is a good time to retrain for something new. And don't say you're too old! I graduated college at 37, and got an MBA when I was almost fifty! Good luck and G-d bless!

In this economy so many people are going through the exact same things as you are . You are not a loser in the eyes of your children and you should not be looked at as such in the eyes of anyone else either . Hang in there it will get better you will see.
