You can't keep allowing your thoughts to go back to that money. What's done is done. I am sure you have wonderful memories of that time, remember them. Ultimately, it will be the memories you make over your lifetime that will bring you joy. Think about this, if you are dying, unable to speak, all the money in the world will not bring you peace and joy. But your beautiful memories will. Now put those negitive thoughts behind you, get creative, or with a creative friend, make those great babies of yours a costume, then tresure the memories you have made.
P.S. The one Halloween I have the greatest memories of with my boys, was the year we could not afford costumes and a friend helped me make them. Happy Halloween Sweetheart.

I have felt this way also. I didn't inherit any money but any money we get I can't help but spend. I love to shower my family with gifts yet I know we have bills to pay. It's the luxury at the time you think of, not the long haul ahead of you. I feel you on this.

get all the freebies the goverment has to offer,my neighbors do,and they still vacation more than me,as i work and don't have time for fun,i also hear they get help from all kinds of different churches,and they put that money away into their ira accounts so they can live like nobody else when they reach retirement age,life is good in America,and you have me to thank,i am your hero as i work my ass off to help pay your way.
